940 - Stories
Along the Pacific coast can be found petroglyphs. These are illustrations, but not writings, made by early natives. They refer to stories which were once known verbally.
The petroglyphs recorded dreams, rituals, and spirits that humans might come in contact with on beaches, waters, streams, skies, and land.
