Endil is a sea king, so his spacious ground is the
ocean and the ocean's chariot is a ship. The god Odin, who controls the
ship, is its captain. For more than 250 years, horizons fell before the adventures of the Vikings. Through the powers of their gods, they went across Western Europe, Russia, the Near East, and eventually across uncharted seas to the New World. |
